I. Preliminary Examination:  

Preliminary exam is first stage of this examination and there are two part of this exam:
  • PART A : General Knowledge & Current Affairs - 50 Marks
  • PART B : General English - 50 Marks

All both part of this preliminary exams will be multiple objective and each parts will be 50 questions and time be 50 Minutes for both parts.The preliminary examination will be a qualifying examination and only those applicants will be obtain the minimum qualifying marks in each section and aggregated in the preliminary examination will be be called for the main examination. The marks achieved by the candidates in the preliminary examination will  not be counted when the final selection list will be prepared. So this is only qualifying exam.

II. Main Examination:  

Preliminary exam is first stage of this examination and there are two part of this exam:
  • PART I : Essay and letter writing and Crammer - 100 Marks - 2 hours
  • PART II : Typing Tests at 40 W.P.M. in English/Hindi - 100 Marks - 10 Minutes
If the candidate qualifying and eligible for the post of Junior Clerk in both languages as English and Hindi streams then candidate may be permitted to write paper-I in both types of the streams but candidates are not allowed any time break. After completing the paper in one stream and submitted over the answer sheet to examiner, then the candidate will not be allowed further 02 hours time for completing the papers in the other stream. Only Those candidates will be qualify who will be passed in paper -II Computer Typing Test at the speed of 40 words per minute otherwise their answer scripts of paper-1 will not be evaluated by Lok Sabha Sachivalaya recruitment administrations.
